Got a question? No problem, fingers crossed we answer it here for you.

Short Version: Rotaract is a youth service club consisting of members aged 18-30, we are similar to a Rotary, Lions, Apex and other Service Clubs, but we have a heavy focus on youth, and self learning/improvement.

Long Version: Rotaract originally began as a Rotary International youth program in 1968 and has grown into a major Rotary International sponsored organization. We have over 9,522 clubs spread around the world and 291,006 members.

We are a service, leadership, professional and community service organization for young men and women between the ages 18–30.

Rotaract focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces. Clubs around the world also take part in international service projects, in a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world.

Short Version: We want to keep the culture young, exciting and agile. We’re focused on supporting, encouraging and building young leaders.

Long Version: Many clubs across the world accept member of all ages. Rotary (our parent organisation) allows anybody 18+ to be a member, but often its members are 40+ years old.

After Rotary Internationals success with Interact (The highschool variant of Rotary), they saw a need for a more adult youth focused arm, thus Rotaract was born.

If you’re younger than 18, check out Interact, if your older than 30, check out Rotary. If you’re 18-30, come check us out, we’d be happy to have you.

Sadly not, due to Insurance and the nature of many of our events, you will need to be at least 18 to join or attend any of our events. If your not 18 yet, mark in your calendar to come along to our next event once you are, we’d be happy to have you.

In the mean time, Check out Interact
